Great Otway Walking Tracks

The Otways are a very special place, the tall wet tree ferns, ancient rainforests, and amazing wildflowers. All of this is fringed by a spectacular coastline.

The Great Ocean Walk starts from the beautiful town of Apollo Bay and goes all the way to Glenample Homestead, which is right near the 12 Apostles.

Passing through the National Park, it also overlooks the Marine National Park. The walk has been designed so that walkers can 'step on and step off' the trail at a number of places, completing short, day or overnight hikes.

Some other things that you can do here are horse riding, biking, picnics and camping.

One of the most popular falls in the Otways is called the Erskine Falls, located just a few minutes out of the picturesque Lorne.

The waterfall cascade down 30 metres into a beautiful gully filled with tree ferns and small rock pools that you can enjoy dipping your feet into.

There are many more Waterfalls that are scattered throughout the Otways Ranges that can be enjoyed, whether it be having a picnic or taking some pictures.

Here are some just to name a few: Hopetoun Falls, Marriners Falls, Sheok Falls and Triplet Falls.
